1. Using starzMix

starzMix helps musicians find collaborators and gigs near them. By creating an account, you agree to use the platform respectfully and to keep the information on your profile accurate.

2. Who can use starzMix

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account or use starzMix. We apply one minimum everywhere rather than varying it by country, because 16 is the highest age of digital consent used across the EU. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 16, we close it and delete the data held with it.

3. Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users on starzMix. By using the platform you agree never to post, send, or share anything that is:

• Harassing, threatening, bullying, or meant to intimidate another person.
• Hateful or discriminatory on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or age.
• Sexually explicit, or sexual content involving a minor in any form.
• Violent or graphic, or an incitement to violence or self-harm.
• Illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, or spam — including scams aimed at musicians, such as fake gig, session, or audition offers.
• Someone else's personal information, or an impersonation of another person or band.

4. Reporting, moderation, and removal

Every post, comment, message, and profile can be reported from the menu beside it, and you can block any user from that same menu. Blocking stops them from contacting you or seeing your posts.

We review every report within 24 hours of receiving it. Content that breaks these terms is removed, and the accounts behind it are suspended or permanently terminated. Anything illegal — threats of violence, or sexual content involving a minor — is removed as soon as we see it and referred to the relevant authorities. We never tell the person who was reported who reported them.

5. Your content

Posts, comments, and profile details you share stay yours. You're responsible for what you publish, and we may remove content that violates these terms.

6. Account & data

You can delete your account at any time. We only use your data to operate starzMix — matching you with other musicians and keeping your conversations working. What we collect, who processes it and how to delete it is set out in our Privacy Policy.

7. Responsibility between musicians

starzMix connects you with other musicians — what happens after that is between you. We are not responsible for:

• The conduct, reliability, or identity of any musician you meet, message, or arrange to play with through the platform.
• What happens at rehearsals, gigs, sessions, or any other meetup you arrange with someone from starzMix — including your personal safety.
• Lost, damaged, or stolen instruments and equipment, or any financial arrangement (payment for gigs, shared costs, gear sales) you make with another user.
• Disputes between musicians or collaborators, including disagreements over songwriting credit or creative direction.

Use the same judgment you would meeting anyone else online: talk before you meet, meet in public or with others around when you can, and trust your instincts. starzMix is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, and our liability for any claim related to the platform is limited to the maximum extent the law allows.
